Always a popular destination, Harrogate is a classic English floral town with a fascinating heritage as a famous European Spa. A town full of opportunities to spoil yourself - treat yourself to one of Harrogate's famous Turkish Baths, relax in the Valley Gardens, visit the Victoria Shopping Centre, or enjoy afternoon tea in the famous Betty's Tea Room. The combination of breath-taking views, beautiful rolling countryside, quaint villages, and olde-style charm always ensures this is a relaxing and popular tour. A highlight for those TV soap lovers amongst us is a trip to Holmfirth, home of 'Last of the Summer Wine', and Esholt, the original location of 'Emmerdale'. Another highlight will be our day to the historic Viking City of York, known for it's gothic Cathedral, York Minster, and the charming olde-style buildings of 'The Shambles'.
