THE London Experience

14th – 20th August 2013: 7 Day Tour


As one of the top cities in the world London has so much to offer, from Big Ben & The Houses of Parliament, shopping in Oxford Street, Buckingham Palace, London Bridge - the list is endless. Our itinerary is ideal for those visiting London for the first time as well as those going back to see their ‘old haunts’. Our visit to Althorp, the former home and final resting place of Princess Diana, is sure to be a special memory. This tour has been designed with well-planned journey times, ensuring passengers are fresh and relaxed throughout.


Wed 14th: Letterkenny - Dublin - Holyhead - Stoke

From Holyhead we travel along the north Wales coast as we make our way to our overnight hotel close to the motorway on the outskirts of Stoke on Trent.


Thur 15th: Stoke - Stratford-Upon-Avon - Cotswolds - London

We start the day with a visit to the famous Stratford upon Avon, home of William Shakespeare. In the afternoon we visit Stow-on-the-Wold, one of the beautiful villages in the Cotswolds. We finish the day with the journey to our hotel by Regent Park, right in the heart of London.


Fri 16th: Morning City Tour – Afternoon Free

This morning we admire the famous sights of London including Big Ben & The Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, and London Bridge to name but a few, followed by a free afternoon in the city centre.


Sat 17th: Free Day in London

Today we have a free day, allowing the opportunity to visit some of the many attractions London has to offer, catch up with family or friends, or indulge in some shopping in nearby Oxford Street.


Sun 18th: Day Trip to Windsor – Optional Extra: West-End Show

Today we leave the busy streets of London and make the short journey to the Royal town of Windsor, on the banks of the Thames.
For our last night in London we make a trip to the famous West-End.


Mon 19th: London - Althorp - Stoke

Today we leave London and travel back north with a special visit to the home of the Spencer family - Althorp. We will have time to visit the house and the exhibition, “The Diana Collection”. After leaving Althorp we continue to our overnight hotel near Stoke for the last night of the tour.


Tue 20th: Stoke - Holyhead – Dublin - Letterkenny

On our last day we travel along Wales’s north coast on our way to Holyhead to catch the ferry back to Dublin, before continuing home to Donegal.
