St Patrick's Country Music Weekend - Blackpool
15th – 18th March 2013: 4 Day Tour
This St. Patrick’s weekend we have a wonderful break to Blackpool for the 7th “Ultimate Irish Entertainment Weekend”, featuring a host of top Irish artists. There is a great holiday atmosphere in Blackpool and we will be spoilt for choice for what to do by day and entertained by the best country stars at night!
Fri 15th: Letterkeny - Belfast - Cairnryan – Blackpool
We travel to Belfast for the mid-morning sailing to Cairnryan before continuing to Blackpool. This evening after dinner we enjoy the first night of music with Charlie Landsborough, and Stephen Smyth and his band.
Sat 16th: Free Day in Blackpool
Today we have a leisurely day in Blackpool to enjoy the many attractions on offer. A chance to explore the 'Golden Mile', walk along one of Blackpool's three Piers, or visit the iconic Blackpool Tower, where we can travel 518ft to the glass floor at the top or perhaps take a waltz around the magnificent tower ballroom. Once again this evening we will be entertained by a great combination of country music stars.
Sun 17th: Free Morning in Blackpool – Optional Trip to Southport
A Sunday morning at leisure in Blackpool. In the afternoon we have the option of a visit to the scenic seaside town of Southport. This pretty town with the beautiful tree lined Lord Street is a regular winner of the Britain in Bloom floral awards. For our final night we are treated to a finale of country music with Dominic Kirwan, Gary Gamble, Brendan Shine, & Roy Walker.
Mon 18th: Blackpool – Gretna - Cairnryan – Belfast – Letterkenny
This morning we leave our home by the sea, and travel north, stopping in well-known Gretna Green, en-route to Cairnryan for our ferry home.
