10 Day Tour
This Mediterranean holiday on the Cote d’Azur, or French Riviera, is based in the charming town of Menton, nestled between Monacco and Italy on the Mediterranean Coast. Surrounded by mountains and protected from winds the town benefits from wonderful weather most of the year and is an ideal autumn destination.
Mon 24th: Letterkenny – Larne – Cairnryan – Hull
We sail to Cairnryan and travel to Hull to board our overnight luxury cruise ferry.
Tues 25th: Rotterdam – Dijon, France
From Holland we travel through Luxembourg & cross into France to our overnight hotel.
Wed 26th: Dijon – Menton
Today we continue our journey south to the Mediterranean and the charming town of Menton, our base for the next five nights.
Thurs 27th: Free Day in Menton
Today we have the day to relax, and to help us find our way we have a short guided walking tour of the old town followed by a visit to a local artisanal jam factory. This evening the hotel bar will be running “Happy Hour”, before dinner.
Fri 28th: Day Trip to Monacco and Monte Carlo
Today is sure to be the highlight of the tour for many as we visit the principality of Monaco. We visit the tomb of Grace Kelly and take a stroll through beautiful Monte Carlo, a well known playground for the rich and famous.
Sat 29th: Day Trip to Diano Marina, Italy
We cross the border to Diano Marina in Italy today, a beautiful little resort, where we can soak up the atmosphere along the promenade, and enjoy a famous Italian ice-cream!
Sun 30th: Day Trip to Nice & Eze
Today we visit Nice, the Capital of the Cote d’Azur. You can explore the old town, visit one of the many museums or stroll along the affluent Promenade des Anglais. We visit a perfumery in the spectacular Eze on our way back to Menton.
Mon 1st: Menton – Dijon, France
We leave our Mediterranean home, and make our way to our over-night hotel in Dijon.
Tues 2nd: Dijon - Rotterdam
We retrace our steps back to Rotterdam to board our luxury cruise ferry.
Wed 3rd: Hull – Cairnryan – Larne - Letterkenny
We arrive back in Letterkenny at approximately 8:30pm with fond memories, new friends and stories to tell about the remarkable sights on this truly spectacular tour.
